Mark Morabito has more than 20 years of experience in the public markets with expertise in raising capital and corporate development. He is the founder of King & Bay West, a merchant bank and technical services company that specializes in identifying, funding, developing and managing high-potential opportunities. Mark has been the principal driving force behind numerous resource development companies including Alderon Iron Ore Corp. and Excelsior Mining Corp., among others. He has raised more than $900 million in capital and commitments to date and has attained two listings on the New York Stock Exchange. Mark has a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University and completed his Juris Doctor degree at Western University.
Jay is a Partner in Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP. Following more than 20 years with Anfield, Sujir, Kennedy & Durno, he joined Farris’ Securities practice group. Jay has nearly 30 years’ experience acting for public and private companies.
Jay was called to the BC Bar in 1986 after obtaining his LLB from the University of Victoria. He obtained his BA (Economics & Philosophy) in 1981, also from the University of Victoria.
Nicky has over 15 years of executive experience in the digital marketing B2B space. In 2002, Nicky founded and operated a successful global marketing technology business, Income Access. Under Senyard’s leadership as CEO, the business achieved exponential organic growth, attracting a US$30 million business acquisition in 2016 by leading global payments provider, Paysafe Group.
Since the 2016 transaction, Nicky founded KewPac Investments — a Vancouver-based boutique firm that seeks strategic investment opportunities in the marketing technology and B2B space.
Brad is the founder and CEO of SecuritiesLawUSA, PC. He has many years of experience as a U.S. securities lawyer, both as an SEC staff attorney and as a private practitioner. Brad earned his J.D. degree in 1983 at BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, and in 1986 he earned an LL.M. degree in Securities Regulation at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Brad is a member of the State Bar of California (Business Law Section), the District of Columbia Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Business & Corporations Section).
Glen worked in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years and has had senior roles in Process Engineering, Strategic Management, Operations and Customer Service. Glen built a National Customer Service Management organization to support the top 500 Client Corporations across Canada and led service teams opening new offices in eastern Canada while integrating acquisitions. Glen has taken the Operations and Strategic Leadership programs at Queens University and participated in the Executive Telecom Program at Marshal School of Business, University of Southern California.
Dean is the founder and president of CMC Capital Market Consulting Corp., a B.C. firm that specializes in securities regulation, investment industry standards of conduct and litigation support. Mr. Holley was formerly Executive Director of the British Columbia Securities Commission and his career in the securities industry has included market surveillance, enforcement, and compliance. He received his Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from The University of British Columbia.
Anthony has more than 15 years’ experience working on financial software. Prior to joining Voleo, he was Business Architect at Broadridge's Dataphile, which handled the majority of the back office systems for Canada's independent brokers. There he coordinated large multi-year system changes in response to new regulatory changes, and advised brokerage clients. Anthony has also worked at banking software firm Metavante Technology (acquired by Fidelity National Information Services), where he was the Subject Matter Expert on web cash management and payment systems. Anthony holds a B.A.Sc from University of Toronto.
